Commercial Ranges

#1 Post by Sim G »

So the question is fairly simple..... Are there any commercial ranges in the UK where you can, just turn up and shoot?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I think the tunnel in Dorset too. Calton moor is excellent for load development. Mike is very knowledgable.

Thanks for the input so far, all except the fat leather freak....

Calton Moor

The Tunnel

Minsterley

As for Sheild Shooting Centre, their site was a little ambiguous. It stated it was a seven day a week range, but nothing for opening times, prices availability etc. I remember it from the Practical Pistol days, but it's not of the ilk of the other three so far....

So any more? Surely there can't just be three in the country?!!!!
