George I'm sure someone who shoots with UKPSA can give you the name of the company their using these days, why not give them a call.

Blackstuff in this thread is a member, maybe he can clarify that ?

I was under the impression that NRA membership provided the necessary cover, if not I will need to know the answer to your question as will some others I expect.

The NRA insurance cover for members is excellent, as is the BASC cover, but the cover is essentially shooting related - just as you would expect.

I want some sensible cover for medical emergencies abroad including sickness, medical expenses, repatriation etc, beyond the limited provisions of the European Health Insurance Card . The NRA cover, excellent as it is, does not cover sickness.

Thank you to the well-wishers who ask if I have tried this, or that, or the other, but I seek advice from someone who has come across the problem, studied it, wrestled with it, and who knows the answer.

The Post Office insurance seems to be the one I will go for when I next travel abroad to shoot.
