I love my AI-AT, wish I'd bought an AI years ago.

You might find a cheaper AE or AW out there.

I have just thought the same about getting a .308 and decided that it was better to buy once, so I have bought an AI AT 26" barrel, muzzle brake, folding stock, AI bipod: pick it up on Saturday this week :D

Just looking at optics now, I can't afford an S&B PM II at the moment, so looking at alternatives.
Regards,

Geek

Plus another £500 if you want to run another small action calibre. That's the main reason to get the AT so factor in diff barrel and diff reloading kit if you don't already have it.
