I had this discussion with a dealer yesterday about the once a section 5, always section 5 slock. I thought that say L1A1's could be dissembled and the multiple parts used with some new parts like barrels that have not been drilled to create a new section 1 rifle and other things like the Alfa Nitro muzzle loaders Alan Westlake imports minus the cylinder to then modify the yoke to only take his cylinders.

In a disjointed way I'm trying to say, what is the full legal deal with all of this and is the law really that screwed up that no one has an answer?

I've very sorry, I did not know that the question had been done to death Dromia. Any forum threads that deal with what I am asking that I should read. Once I'm shown I will never ask the question again. I just thought there must be more to it than I thought?

Thank you, so stripped components then. Its just a friend has one of the Buckland SLR's. The police see no problem in him keeping it (he suspects it would have been yanked off him by now). And it has different numbers throughout when he looked at it. So I suspect he is in the clear. Prove me wrong if you think its an issue.

You're not mad at me, are you Dromia? I only asked as I'm concerned for my friend. He's a good bloke, deputy head of his Local Comp (They have sent a few kids to Oxford and in his own words the biggest after school club is the Dungeons and Dragons Club, they are the nice ones. Plus its better they be Level 5 Magic users and level 4 Barbarians than on a corner drinking White Lightning). In essence I don't want to see him getting screwed over something that is at best a technicality as a result of law makers who are foolish, ignorant and just plain can barely do anything to make a situation tolerable.

White Lightning is awful, that's what's wrong.

I wouldn't even wish it on a politician. The fact that it's legally sold as cider should have the entire country up in arms.
