SA80/L85 Butt pad, a question for those who have served

Need a LOT of information on bullpups? Collector Grade have 3 excellent titles on th EM-2, bullpup rifles & the SA80

EM-2 The sexiest bullpup around, or was, I guess. A sad, sad story. Damn you, 'Merica!

There's a pretty decent book on the SA80/L85 that's out so I'm told, I been meaning to try and grab a copy if I can find one at a realistic price. I think it's called The Last Enfield, though I've never read it.

Steve Raw's book. Well written, very well researched - lots of primary data on the L85A1 trials. It runs out immediately after the A2 was introduced but I think that was when the book was originally written. I hope he updates it, it was a fantastic volume.

It's not my rifle he's talking about, I didn't and wouldn't have paid that much despite them being made from unicorns poop.

Some parts for sale on flybay america now-bolt,firing pin,spring and rods for carrier,more is coming according to seller...-he?

I have been after a spare firing pin for my L98A1 for a while to add to my spares kit, but they are rocking horse poo .

Until, that is, the one I bought from the US seller on Ebay as per the post above turned up in the post yesterday
