This small insert of Tufnol should quieten down the clunk of the bolt handle as it contacts the wrist strap on my 2A1 rascal project. I need to blend in the form of the handle so the profile is lined up with the insert and then give it a good polish before finishing however I am quite pleased with the job.

Next thing on the list is to drill the ball of the bolt handle.

Tufnol is fantastic stuff all the old electrical instrument boards used to be made from it I have skipped tonnes of it.
