I cannot fathom this sort of thing. Who wants a rifle that looks like it's been through the wars? I always kept any firearm owned by me, or issued to me, in top shape. It's always been a matter of professional pride to me.

I seem to be able to make mine look old just by taking them out of the safe and putting them back in again. The more careful I am, the worse they look. I'm sure Mr Murphy has this phenomenom covered somewhere. 8-)

airsofters are the worst for this kind of thing. even to the point of dusting it with tan spray paint so it looks 'sandy'

Lol...

I'd like to do it... within reason.

If I could get a cheap R700, with the right type of wood stock, I would totally want to make it shoot as accurately as possible, but also make it look like it'd been through hell. Why... Why not?

This, to me, looks awesome, and I'd love to own something that looked like it.

Yes, I know it's from a computer game... So what?

That said, I wouldn't go out of my way to do it, but if something came up that I saw promise in... ;)
