There is ....

Call the Firearms Unit of the issuing force and quote the FAC reference.

If an RFD has any doubt regarding the validity of an FAC then that should be his / her first recourse. If an RFD was to question any aspects of my FAC then I'd happily dial up the appropriate number within my phone contacts and let them (RFD / Firearms Unit) clarify the situation using my phone. RFD's don't know everything but if I know I'm right, I'd rather the RFD heard it from the horse's mouth rather than from me.

I took a colour photocopy of my FAC a few years ago - 'FRAUD' in 2 inch high letters appeared on the copy, top and bottom of each page.

If you try to photo copy a FAC on normal copy paper, it comes out with a `watermark` that says `Fraud`

I just copied my certificate in colour using normal copier paper and no were on the copy does it say Fraud.

So we now have a lot of guys photocopying their tickets just to check what happens; once I find mine I'll copy and see what comes up!!
