NOE moulds

#1 Post by Alpha1 »

I joined a small bore indoor rifle club last year after spending my time lots of time shooting out doors mainly on MOD ranges. Visiting the club got me revisiting cast boolits some thing I stopped doing years ago. Any way I have had little success due to the lack of availability of correct size boolits off the shelf and me not owning moulds of the correct type or size.
So the only way these rifles are going to work is if I have the correct boolit that fits the bore or a mould to cast the correct size boolit.
I contemplated having a go at cutting a mould my self of the correct size and profile.
So some one suggested having a skeg at NOE group buys.
So I did and I have to say having worked out the time and effort needed to produce a mould the NOE gear is a absolute bargain.
I have just paid for my first custom mould plus top punch and several other bits and pieces plus postage to the UK. A absolute bargain in my book.
I will be buying more just can not wait for the stuff to arrive so I can get underway.
I visited my small bore club the other evening the groups are getting smaller. I am quietly confident that when I aquire a couple more moulds my shooting is going to be.
1. A lot cheaper
2. A lot tighter groups
3. Good fun
3. Interesting

And if the moulds don't work Ill just sell in the for sale section shakeshout

Just for the record the club Alpha1 is talking about is a Small Bore, Full Bore, Muzzle Loading Rifle and Pistol club. Not just a Small Bore Rifle club.

We support and encourage all types of shooting so long as it goes bang or pffft, is safe and legal.

+1 for NOE, I am hoping to get some casting done this weekend with my latest acquisition, the 6.5 Kurz mould.

How long does delivery normally take Joe. I visited there web site you could easily spend a lot of money you are spoilt for choice when it comes to moulds.

Ah yes what Adam said about the club it's not just a small bore club. You can shoot hand loaded full bore rifles on the indoor range. They have a very robust regime in place to make sure everything is done properly.

All depends how long it languishes in customs, can take anything from a couple of weeks to months.

Al ships within a day of ordering usually.

I'm raring to go Joe got all my casting stuff out and dusted off serviced the lubesizer I just need to get my hands on a suitable mould so I can shrink those groups. Iv had a good look at NOE site I can see at least three moulds that I will probably buy for this rifle. Just waiting to see if any of them are offered in his discount sale thingy. If I add other moulds at the check out when paying for a group buy mould do you get the discount on everything you buy or just the group buy mould.

Discount only works on the GB mould, nothing else.

Watch out for the NOE offers there are always discounts on various stock items and there was the 20% Christmas offer I posted here.

There is the $1000 club as well, you get membership when you have spent $1000 (cumulative) with NOE via the website.

"The club has been set up through our web-store.
It takes $1,000.00 or more orders through your account in the web-store to be enrolled.
We will send you a PM with a unique discount code for 10% off any item in the store.
You can use the discount with our weekly special and get up to 25% off too.
Your discount code cannot be used with any other discount code, only one code per order.
The discount code cannot be used with Group Buy discounts.
Your discount code if valid for the life of your account.

If you ordered over the phone or before we had the web-store it will not be tracked - sorry"

To get the most out of NOE and their products you need to keep checking the web site and forum regularly for updates and offers.

I have around 150 NOE moulds in my collection and another six on the way.

What advantage do these moulds have over Lyman, which is readily available in this country?
