Morning all.
Newbie here.... Submitted my application for a Grant of an FAC with Hampshire Constabulary in December last for a couple of .22s, ammo etc...
Does anyone have recent information on how long Hampshire are taking to process Grants?
Thank you!

Re: Hampshire Police time for FAC Grant
Just spoken to an old colleague up there who says 2-3 months for a new grant.
Give them a ring if you want to know where they are in the process, but it took me a while to get mine. Even when I worked for Hantspol, contrary to popular belief (and quite rightly) we never got any favours, they keep it very fair, but if you miss something they get on with something else while you sort out what caused the delay if it was with the info provided.
They are innundated, so its a case of heving to be patient and use the tiem to get everything in place for the FEOs visit etc.
That said, the stated 2 weeks for my variation and that is exactly what it took, cant argue with that.

Very good service last year whole process took 6 weeks start to finish. FEO was excellent and home visit include some great suggestions on improving home security. 10/10 for Hants Police.

Re: Hampshire Police time for FAC Grant
I've had excellent service from them recently, my first variation took 2 weeks and the last one less than a week. I find a quick call to them first helps set the wheels in motion and gives them a heads up, they are always very helpful over the phone. Give them a bit of time for a grant and lets face it the long christmas period has probably slowed things up a bit, it has at my place of work
