Miha does make good moulds I have a dozen or so of his, he isn't so hot at making rifle boolit moulds though and he is years behind on a lot of his rifle boolit mould GBs, seemingly he has tooling problems with the longer narrower cavities. That is why he seems to do only pistol moulds but he has done a few rifle boolit moulds but not his strong suit.
His Ness Safety boolit mould is a beauty, personally though I prefer aluminium moulds to brass because of the weight, he does do some aluminium moulds but seems to prefer brass. I also prefer the RG method of cavity pins used by NOE over the Cramer method Miha has chosen to use.
Excellent moulds all the same if he does a design you want.

I have been using Tom Myers software for designing/drawing my boolits for years, in fact I use all Toms software and find it excellent, well thought out and easy to use. It has to be for me to be able to use it.
His "Precision Cast Bullet Design and Evaluation" software has become the boolit design programme of choice for many bespoke and commercial mould makers like NOE.
With over 500 moulds in my collection I find his Mould List software invaluable.
I can heartily recommend all his programmes, designed by a shooter/caster/handloader for shooters/casters/handloaders.
I checked his site out some good stuff by the looks of it. I guess you have to buy the programs. .
Yes you have to buy them but they are not at all expensive in the scheme of things. His support is first rate, I lost his programmes in a computer crash and upon contacting him replacement downloads were instantly forthcoming free of charge.

Iv tested the water I put two halves of aluminium block together the blocks are just rough nothing special we ground a cutter drilled a pilot hole then used the cutter to cut the mould. It turned out OK ish. It does not have any lube grooves but Im working on that. I am starting to get some tooling and stuff together. I am picking up some cutters and stuff from Cromwell tools to morrow. I'm thinking I might prepare the blocks my self but we will see.
A question I could probably pop this boolit through a sizer and use it except it does not have lube grooves. I could fit a gas check. My question is do you need the lube grooves if you tumble lube or is it a dumb question.
While I was on I learnt how to make a collet out of brass (under instruction from Alan at work) to hold the boolit in the lathe so I could cut lube grooves in the boolit on the lathe if I wanted to. Its all fascinating stuff. Hmm whats next.
That's a very nice mould Adam and I would buy one but the AIA would not feed that shape boolit. The AIA has a feed ramp and its very boolit shape sensitive. I have had lots of problems chambering cast boolit rounds of the wrong shape. The boolits I got of Rog work they are the right profile but they are the wrong diameter.
This is the boolit I want

If any one has one of these moulds I will happily purchase it off you for the current price of a new one plus postage of course.
