Amazing Blu. I bet it still worked better than a certain Rossi lever action I once owned. lol

I know somebody who left a Rifle at an outdoor range and travelled 100 miles home before discovering his loss, (Not Me), amazingly it was still there when he dashed back, Phew!, cost him a speeding ticket though.

Given how expensive in relative terms, an 1873 Winchester would have been, I cannot understand how anyone could have left it behind. There must be a real story behind it. Pity we stand virtually no chance of ever knowing how it came to be there.

It reminded me of this article, a Mannlicher Luxus 6.5x57 complete with a Kahles Helia 6x42 left on the side of a mountain for 27 years, apparently the 'scope was still functioning perfectly.

And that's why I prefer Kahles on my stalking rifles.
