Re: Reload Swiss price increase
I find it quite incredible that Nitro-Chemie themselves don't have a fairly comprehensive suite of load data à la Vihtavuori or just about any other powder producer. Reload Swiss powders are damned good in my experience, but the lack of loading data is ridiculous.
We've used RS50 in .223 and .308, and RS62 in .300 WSM with excellent results, but manufacturer's data would have made life easier - thank goodness for Quickload.
I plan on using Reload Swiss powder in my K31, but unbelievably Reload Swiss don't list it aaarggh

Ah .... but likely nobody in Switzerland handloads 7.5X55 given free / subsidised GP11 ammo!I plan on using Reload Swiss powder in my K31, but unbelievably Reload Swiss don't list it
Re: Reload Swiss price increase
How right you are Laurie.
To be honest I'd use it myself if only it weren't so damned expensive here in the UK.

Re: Reload Swiss price increase
Yes Kenny - Elcho 17 is a relabelling of one of the Reload Swiss powders, as is TR140.
I'd be interested to know your load details please.

Re: Reload Swiss price increase
Is TR140/Elcho 17 still being distributed, or is it solely remaining stock?
Re: Reload Swiss price increase
Any left is remaining stock. So if you know of any at a dealer, buy now! Nigel C-H wanted to carry on the previous operation, but Nitro-Chemie (unsurprisingly) wouldn't have it and the contract for UK import / distribution bans the practice. He will still import bulk quantities for commercial users, for example HPS which has used TR140 / RS50 as an alternative to Viht N140 in its .308 Win Target Master match ammo on occasions.DW58 wrote:Is TR140/Elcho 17 still being distributed, or is it solely remaining stock?
