I'd go for 6.5 grendel too - the bolt won't have to be changed and it's a very accurate round. Paul at Thames Valley Guns converted a cz bolt action 7.62x39 to 6.5 grendel. There was a company that was offering calibre conversions on .303 enfields called www.greenrifle.co.uk - i think they did .30 carbine and .45 acp.

I saw one the other day in a 10mm pistol round , a custom job from Armalon .

In the forthcoming Holts' sealed bid auction, there is a very nice Lee Speed chambered in .375 Flanged Nitro Express. Maybe not the first choice of a modern No4 conversion, but quite a rare and interesting for an SMLE!
