Early X'Mas

Srecan Bozic (*) from my new Serbian friend !!

I wanted a short barrel AK and hesitated between the M92 and its Polish Mini Beryl cousin. I was not sure about an anemic capitalistically expensive calibre, I went for the Serb in 7,62x39. Finally we met last Saturday for couple of hours. OMG I don't regret my choice : uber fun !!
Early stages of the relationship but so far she is everything I wanted : well balanced curves, noisy, lively and performing perfectly her intended job. She has serious potential to become my most ludic gun but, before you ask, sadly, she has to live abroad . Can't wait to go back :good:

Oh my god!!!!!........I think a bit of wee just came out! :o

It looks like an AKMS underfolder got it on with an AK-74u and that popped out. It's a shame we can't have short-barreled loveliness like that over here.I am envious Tovarisch.......no doubt some will say it is highly inaccurate and pointless but they miss the point

And what is the point? If it floats the Frogs boat well there you have it, I'm sure he won't give a toss what anyone thinks. I certainly don't buy guns to impress anyone I buy them for my own enjoyment, someone doesn't like any of of my guns tough titty. If the Frogs happy with his gun more power to his trigger finger.

I've owned AK's and they aren't my thing, just because I don't like them don't mean what isn't to my tastes ain't to someone else's. At least it isn't neutered.

Hang on Blu I wasn't being critical, I love it!!!!.Froggy knows my view on anything AK related, with two AKs and two Dragunovs myself whats not to love?.My comment above refers to the fact that every time I post anything about AKs someone always comes along and slags them off a commie crap and they miss the point that they are fun to shoot (even "neutered") and cheap to feed. And I know from experience they are way more accurate than people give them credit for, especially at the range they were designed for.

I never said or thought you were being critical. All I stated was that I don't think the Frog will give a toss what folks think, if he's happy with it then why should he. As for the accuracy thing, yeah they will hit a man sized target, that's what they were designed for but they certainly aren't tack drivers. They are cheaply made mass produced rifles of the spray and pray kind.

I've owned a couple in my time from a Chinese 84S in 5.56mm to a couple of Russian jobs, even had one in 5.45x39 and accuracy was nothing to write home about but as you state they are fun to shoot.

Well if Froogy is happy with his gun it is a point that didn't need being made.

If I am honest I probably would have preferred a proper classic Russian AkSu but the price & availability of the ammo made me go down the road of the 7,62x39. I read that in short barrels, 25cm here, the 7,62 round retains better velocity than the smaller 5.56 or 5.45 (??). As far as accuracy, the M92 is simply perfect both for its original intended professional purpose and for me as a civilian to use as a fun fast-shooting gun. Blasting away with mil-surp ammo, it holds a desert plate at 50 meters. Good enough for me.

Blu, you are 100% correct ! I really wanted one but I had to keep only 1 of all my rifles it would be my SDI "M4" as it is the most polyvalent. But thanks God, we can have more than one rifle, so here comes this uber fun Serbian lady.

Steve. I took it Semi-Auto in case at some point I would want to transfer onto my French ticket.
Will it be available for molesting early new year ? You bet and I'll load for you the mags myself ;) I was hopping to have it when you came but it took ages for the batch to be proofed.
