So what stops someone putting a fake advert out saying selling a rifle. You want to buy it and send them your FAC, only they don't have a rifle to sell but now have an FAC to buy one!

With your photograph printed on it ?
It's not going to do them a lot of good.

I’m sure this has happened & was one reason why private sales through the post was stopped.
