Nice find, and enough for three slings, thank you - it is certainly an option.

Not UK, but i got this from the states , its an original 1907 which is dated 1918 and it lives on my M1917, id say a newish sling loop has been added at some stage, rest great.ovenpaa wrote:Can anyone recommend a good UK source for an M1907 sling with sewn keepers. That is a good price, I had one on my SMLE and I think it was around 25 quid and that was a while ago. How did you dry the oil out of the sling after it had been soaked?

i hung it in the shed,over a cardboard box! and gently with surgical gloves tissued off the oil,then more vigorously with some rags.
