Link is to a PDF document with the results of an external audit of Avon and Somerset's firearms licensing department. The audit says all is well and goes into a reasonable amount of detail.

Sorry to correct you Gaz but its not an external audit it is an audit that was carried out internally if I am reading it correctly.

To be honest it sounds and looks very similar to papers and policy documents that were produced by members of the management team of the organisation I used to belong to. Most of the troops that were in the know weren't very impressed by the picture that this sort of report was supposed to draw.
