Just wondered what everyone uses as a range bag?
I've used an old camera bag for ammo and empties for years to supplement the outer pockets of my rifle bag but would like something more. As the camera bag isn't that big I have to take bits out and swap around depending on what I'm doing so sometimes forget something useful.
Ideally, I'd like it to be more than 1ft but not longer than 2ft and able to carry a few hundred rounds of ammo, mags, ears, glasses, flask, sandwiches a waterproof etc. and have some compartments or other means to organise everything.
ideally waterproof or at least a waterproof bottom which many aren't (which maybe is due to them being designed for an American market for indoor range shooters?)
Leaning towards soft outer bags but with solid bottoms and I like the Midway Competition Range Bag

Though as ever, the MidwayUK site is obviously selling a gold plated version given the price difference with the US site.
I can also see the value of solid tool boxes and similar for being waterproof and giving something to sit on.
Ideally not looking too much like a bag for shooting. I like to keep what I'm leaving the house with fairly low-key.
Any suggestions of what you find works for you would be really useful
Thanks.
(BTW I know drag bags have a lot of space and can be the solution for all ills but I'd rather spread the weight.)
