I am increasingly of the opinion looking at national polls that it will be another hung parliament, Red Ed Millipede is just not connecting with the general public and is being trounced by Cameron in the polls which just shouldn't be the case considering how unpopular the coalition government is. At best they would have a fragile majority reliant on Scottish votes to get policy through which is hardly good considering recent events.

Nice to see that we are lumped in with people convicted of an offence.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

I thought we were talking about shooting Fedaykin , hence my pot/kettle/black comment,
so no need to get your knickers in a twist about the finer & irrelevant details of the Lib-Dem vs Greens.

More importantly, when it goes down to their attitude about shooting, beside the huge numbers of Lib-Dem voters of the rural South West and the Highlands of Scotland, Lib-Dem & Greens party leaders + policy makers seem to be made of the same neo fascistic intolerance toward the shooting community. They are certainly both begging for ever more restrictive gun-control & on the issue of licence fee the Lib-Dem definitely want to jack it up. Fact.

They are not irrelevant detail differences Froggy. There are significant differences and it shows a general level of ignorance of the facts to TAR all Lib Dems with the lefty, loony green brush.

Not all Lib Dems are begging for more gun control, not even a majority. So get you facts correct before making silly statements.

To me saying the Lib Dems are no different to the Greens is the same as saying the Tories are not different to the BNP. I am sick and tired of hearing the same ignorant nonsense about my party hence why I have got my knickers in a twist. Stating that many members of the party I have given my time and support are fascistic IS HIGHLY INSULTING!

I sorry you feel insulted but trust me you can never be as worried as I am that Lib-Dem could ever have a greater say on my hobby...

I stand by my comments. Both Lib-Dems & Greens party elite & leaders are viscerally opposed to our shooting community. Of course, not all Lib Dems are begging for more gun control, but the party does. If some shooters choose to be in that same party as those anti-shooting fanatics, it has nothing to do with me but more to do with their own logic.

So before making silly statements and playing the poor innocent offended victim, may I suggest with all due respect my dear Fedaykin, that you get you facts correct & check what Simon Hughes, my MP, or Caroline Pidgeon, Leader of London Assembly Lib-Dems, have to say on the matter ...

I have met Simon Hughes and his personal opinions do not speak for party policy neither does Caroline Pidgeon.

You made an insulting and simplistic statement about a party I have given much time and it had to be pointed out. The party is NOT BEGGING FOR GUN CONTROL it is NOT STATED PARTY POLICY.

That is all I have to say further on the matter.

You made silly sweeping statement, I am not asking you to support the Lib Dems or even agree with my politics but calling the majority of members of my party facists and lumping us in with the Greens was pi$$ poor!

Sure Christel,

My dear fellow Fedaykin, sry to say but how much time you have given to the Liberal-Democrats party is totally irrelevant, as matter of fact I am not even remotely interested in your personal political choices, but please ....

- Caroline Pidgeon, is the leader of the Lib-Dems group in the London Assembly - hardly some insignificant grass-roots supporter...
- Simon Hughes is a long standing LD MP, ex president of the party and was chosen by that very party to be one of the few serving Lib-Dem ministers in the coalition !!

Now, I have not had the "pleasure" of a face to face with Nick Clegg on the topic of shooting, legally held gun control, licensing fees and the infestation of my garden by feral foxes but I very much doubt his views are that dissimilar from those of the two above mentioned fanatics.

Lib-Dem & Greens party leaders + policy makers seem to be made of the same neo fascistic intolerance toward the shooting community

Surely you can read, properly & accurately analyse such a simple sentence ? Can you point me to the part where, according to you , I am calling the majority of members of my party etc ... ?
Apologies gracefully accepted. ;)

Bottom-line : What ever way you try to tart it up, in the current English political spectrum and in simplistic terms (sorry if it is not sophisticated enough), the Greens & the Lib-Dems are IMO the two most dangerous parties for shooting & blood-sports .

Seems strange that in a democracy - and those people who claim to be democratic - all want to dictate what you can and cannot do for sport / fun / eat /drink etc etc.

"THEY" do not like it (or maybe just do not want) "YOU" to have it so "THEY" must have it done away with..not exactly democratic is it?

Remember the old Liebour slogan:

"New labour, tough on fun, tough on the causes of fun".
Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!

My dear Froggy you are wrong, I can't be bothered to further debate you.

Christel asked to live and let live, a simple "Sorry" and lets leave it was all that was needed...but no you have to get the last word.

YOU DID NOT SAY JUST THE LEADERSHIP OF THE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS! YOU SAID:
beside the huge numbers of Lib-Dem voters of the rural South West and the Highlands of Scotland, Lib-Dem & Greens party leaders + policy makers seem to be made of the same neo fascistic intolerance toward the shooting community.
You clearly stated VOTERS in that statement about Lib Dems having fascistic tendencies, hence my rather angry response. You called ME a facist indirectly and I resent that. So an apology please?
