Lol, I dunno, I was just "poking the bear".

I'm not sure how you get a nice piece of wood and polished brass to equal something a gay shooter would own and shoot.

By that rationale, anyone who shoots old enfields could be put in the same category, y'know, because those rifles were made from wood with often polished brass buttplates... :p

This "thing" is very derogatory to our homosexual friends.
The way I see it (perish the cliché thought) gay shooters would fall into 2 categories :

- either have an AR in pink with loads of semi-precious stones incrusted in the stock and maybe a touch of lilac fur on the fore-grip
- or shoot a very "manly" AR in .50 Beowulf but somehow with a solid bushy tach fitted somewhere on the black leather clad handguard ...

Aaaaaaah ... Now that is a pair of ideas for our copper-lover mate worth exploring for his next built ...

I think it look awesome.

Would look even better with a bit more Gold/copper trim on the existing black hardware and a copper plated/metallic looking scope.

Why would someones sexual preference have anything to do with it?
Quite.

In fact gays are tougher than straight guys - straight guys shag little girly girls whereas gay guys shag other guys. Accodding to a great Aussie comedian whose name i forget.

THat sort of 'decoration' looks good on a 19/20thC lever action though. Its a bit like putting a black composite stock on an Enfield no4....
