Decided to share a recent addition to a small historic pistol collection, purchased from an estate dealer, this was a dresser drawer find obtained from a widow.
Type 14 Nambu this example manufactured by Nagoya dated 18.10 (October 1943) surprisingly the quality is outstanding considering a mid war production gun.
This one is matching (except magazine) on all parts including an extra numbered spare firing pin. Condition is 90%+ this one looks almost new, I don't think this one saw much service before changing ownership 70 years ago.
Pistol was a good buy, when seller mentioned the original holster was included It was a deal.
I'm pretty happy with this find, not many show up original in this good of condition that can be obtained reasonably. I have about 40 modern 8mm Nambu rounds on hand so I intend to put a few magazines thru it this week.

I just know that if were allowed pistols I'd end up collecting all sorts of classic stuff
let us know how it shoots

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
