Re: NOOOOOOO!!!
Don't bother with your FEO, ring your firearms office explain the situation and if it's convenient for you, arrange a time to go in for them to reprint it,this is what I did last time, the whole thing took less than 1/2 hour ( don't forget it's THEIR mistake not yours)

A few months ago I did a 1 for 1 and asked for a 38/357 LBR. When it arrived it had become a 38/357 rifle.
I rang them the next day and they admitted the error, and they said if I posted it to them, they would correct it by return of post. As i work about 10 mins from the FLD, I asked if I could pop in during my lunch-hour.
I turned up at their barrier, a nice lady was there to meet me with a corrected FAC, I gave her the incorrect one, and away I went.... all sorted within a couple of hours of my phone call.

Re: NOOOOOOO!!!
UPDATE
rang the firearms office, told them there was a mistake, they said they would print a new one and get it in the post asap. i asked if i could actually pick it up as harpenden in is only 20 mins away. all good
so went and exchanged tickets, checked and signed it. then drove the 5 mins to c&g guns, bought my lovely new delisle carbine, and then drove back past the police station and dropped off my notification of purchase. got a weird look from the woman as she was the one i'd spoken to that morning pointing out the change,
dont think they were expecting me to fill one slot in an hour of getting it :)

Re: NOOOOOOO!!!
No chance of doing that with the Met. Even if you live next door to the office, it has to be posted using Royal Mail. It is not possible to deliver it yourself or use a courier service - either private messenger or DHL/UPS/Yodel/&c.Daryll wrote: I turned up at their barrier, a nice lady was there to meet me with a corrected FAC, I gave her the incorrect one, and away I went.... all sorted within a couple of hours of my phone call.
