There be Draguns.......got myself an SVD :)

#1 Post by snayperskaya »

I've been looking for another Dragunov for a while with no joy and was pleasantly surprised when i got a text off a shooting friend of mine saying he might consider an offer on his. It's a full length fixed stock version and we met up at our club range today, I put some rounds through it and it shoot very nicely and after some condideration over several mugs of coffee and some negotiations we came to a deal and I am now the owner of another Dragunov. It comes with a POSP 8x42vd scope, bipod, two mags and an original sling. Its living at the range armoury until I get the variation sorted and it can join its stablemate in the the cabinet.Heres a quick pic of the two of them together.

Very nice, rare and unexpectedly accurate if you reload yourself. Took me 2 years to find mine after stupidly passing up on one for £500 & with 2 sets of furniture :cool2:

Got the laminate handguards sorted and an original Dragunov laminated wood stock is on its way from the East ;), just need to source an old spec ribbed receiver cover and its sorted.
