SA80/L85 Butt pad, a question for those who have served
I finally got hold of one of the L98s on Friday. Took it to the range Sat and discovered that I've grown since last firing one 20+ years ago. Louise in particular struggled with stock length hence this question: Is there more than one option for the butt pad or is the rifle one size fits all? I don't know how/where I'd get one from but knowing the answer will save me from a possible futile quest.

One size fits all.
How about a picture of the L98?

One size fits all. You have to move the sight on the rails, in order to get correct eye relief.

Thanks
It's currently being cleaned (I leave Hoppes in overnight after shooting), I'll post a pic when it's back together later today.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I want to play dress up with it first. Pics when it resembles an A2 Afghan UOR ACOG/RIS spec rifle.

Owning a handgun doesn't make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician ............ "Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Cooper"
