You guys are fortunate to be able to be doing any shooting on a MOD range run by Landmarc :cool2:

It should only record shots, hits or misses, if the target was up at the time, unless the 200 target was up while you were shooting the 300 ?
Yes, all 3 targets were up and set to bob. I guess the sensors are sensitive enough to detect shots flying past the targets on their way to the one behind.

Do you know how the sensors work?

It's not a problem round here, we have a choice of MoD ranges and the Landmarc booking cell is very helpful.

That's why it registered a 'miss' at 200 then.

The 'Lomah' (Location Of Miss And Hit) bar is two sets of three microphones that triangulate the sonic crack as it passes, in a 1.5 m wide 'view' of the target, if you'd changed the silhouette of the 200m target on the console, to a triple fig11 then it can pass either side of the physical fig11 and still score a hit.
I don't suppose you had the use of the tablets, but via them, you can see each shot (accurate to within 2mm) on the targets.

Thanks Pete. We were provided with a laptop but we didn't use it. As far as I could tell it was showing the same information as the main PC screen, which displayed the position of each shot, group size, etc etc. Clever stuff.
