The Boyds is perfect, I will email them and see if they can supply enough parts to enable me to build something like this.

I even have a spare carbon steel .308 barrel that has a slightly heavier profile which would not look out of place.

Their site specifically states that the forend woods are the lower section only & they don't seem to list top sections on their site, so not sure how the above No.5 was completed...as nice as it looks!!

True, but it was my rifle so I knew that a No4 stock wouldn't fit! :55:

BTW, it'll be an uppity nurse you'll go crying to after you've be seen by a Doctor... :o
