Thank you very much Heather. :D

Most interesting, it explains a lot.

Do you have any trend data on the membership, over say the past 10 years.

No rush, just at your convenience if it is available.

Just a question about the All Members By Discipline data.

What is the second discipline down with 882 members?

Thanks.

Thanks - it makes interesting reading.
Can you confirm there were more resignations than joiners in 2010. It looks like nearly 40 down.
Retention around 90% if I read it right - that's a very good figure.
It looks like the recruitment technique is what needs addressing. No criticism implied or suggested there, by the way.

If it doesn't say anything in the key for any of the sheets, then it means the member/s haven't given us the info.

We had 124 resignations and 277 lapsed member in 2010 not to mention 34 deceased and 4 suspended. We had 650 new members so overall gain of 215 (didn't include suspensions).

I think the geography issue is the one that stands out for me. The further you get from Bisley, the less members you have!

Which is fairly logical but over the past few years we are gaining ground further afield, especially since we started going to the game fairs. The one I like is the TR v the rest percentages. When I started TR was well over 50% now it's under 28%, just shows how our appeal is changing. Sporting, F Class and GR used to be bottom of the pile/non-existant.
