I am interested, what advantage do they have if any over a regular single stage?

For me the best thing about the Wamadet is there is no overhang past the level of the bench.
Good primer catching, plenty of leverage, good feel, smooth to operate and produces quality ammunition.
The best testament to the design is that RCBS's latest press the Summit is a Wamadet copy, the highest form of flattery.
