just had my fac renewal thru its valid from the 7/6 it has an authority to buy on it can i get it know or do i have to wait till the 7th

You will need to wait until 7th June ... an unobservant dealer may miss it but it could put you both at risk.
What happened to your old one? Did you retain it or did they ask for it during the visit? It is a flaw in te system - they take your old certificates and should really issue teh new one to be valid from that date through to 5 years from the expiry of the old one.

I take that to mean you still have the old one but without the authority to purchase. You can send it back to them, some FETs like to get the old ones back - but keep a copy for your records.
