New grant/renewal forms

#1 Post by shotgun sam »

There was a post on pigeon watch that Police Scotland had changed the form for Grants/Renewals and when you go to the police Scotland website the form has indeed been changed the following link takes you to the page about certificates (main forms and information sheets).
http://www.scotland.police.uk/about-us/ ... /firearms/
Hopefully someone that knows how to make an editable version will create it and post it on the forum.
I have spoken to SACS and the new form (Application grants/Renewals) are for the whole of the UK as the previous one had a lot of faults/errors in the Statutory Instrument and due to the nature of this legislation a new Statutory Instrument is required to make the necessary amendments legal.
See link for relevant Statutory Instrument.

I'm assuming the Scottish form is the same as the English one, so this might help:-

Check the library, we have editable forms on there and they should be the same.

I have Adobe Reader XI (11.0.06) and can add overlaid text boxes to the form and save a copy.

Polchraine,

That would be great if you could do that and post it on the forum.
Thanks

When I get a little time, I will do an Instruction post!

Once you get the hang of it, it is easy.
