Spotting Scope Recommendations
Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase a good quality spotting scope to be used in F Class comps.
I had a look through a Celestron Ultima 80 on Saturday that seemed ok but I'd appreciate any advise.
Don't want to spend over £500 really.
Thanks,
Mick.

Well, I asked a similar question here a few days ago.
I had narrowed it down to Kowa/Opticron/Diamondback. Kowa fell by the wayside early on because of lack of availability, Vortex won.
I took delivery of a Vortex Diamondback 20-60x80 angled viewfinder scope yesterday - superb optics, I'm delighted with it, paid £320.

Any chance of a website Link to where you purchased it from please Rob?
Re: Spotting Scope Recommendations
I bought mine on ebaY from this supplier - he only had one listed, but I'd advise giving him an e-mail/call. I had the scope in my hands less than 24 hours from placing the order, I'm delighted with it.
RifleCraft are an agent for Vortex - not sure if they sell spotting scopes.

Re: Spotting Scope Recommendations
In lieu of a scope, what binos do people recommend for 100m out to 600?

F Class? Mick - is this for looking at the wind-flags or adjoining targets?Stuck wrote:Hi all,
