Scotland to introduce airgun licensing law

#1 Post by Gaz »

Plans for a new licensing regime for air guns are expected to be announced by Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill today.

It is anticipated a new Bill giving details of the plans will be published at the Scottish Parliament.

Strangely biased for a Press Association article - nowhere does it mention that the public consultation came back hugely against licensing, nor the police opposition, nor the petitions presented against it.

I suppose an anti working on the Dundee Courier's subs' bench might have edited out the balanced parts, but as I don't know what the original said...

The extreme numpties in the Scottish Nazi Party only see what they want to see. A very large proportion of Scots don't want this so they carry on regardless. Emperor in waiting Wee Eck must be rubbing his hands in glee , will he still be so happy after the referendum or will they just ingore the result anyway ?

Just like soft drugs, airguns are a 'feeder' gun into more dangerous one. First it's a plink at empty coke cans in the back garden and before you know it you're street sweeping with a MAC-10. Very dangerous, ban, ban, ban. ;)
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

ONLY when the tenement blocks have been cleansed of such evil pellet spewing death machines, will the inner city slums of Scotland-shire be safe for the honest unemployed drug users (the S.N.P. voting backbone) to crawl the streets, throwing empty Buckfast bottles in their wake, as they go from single parent mother to single parent mother, breeding the next generation of crotch-fruit that can cry FREEDOM (between mouthfuls of deep fried pizza & blue pop....) while praying to the great provider, King Eck - "...from whom all things are freely available, Amen"

Has anyone said it's all the fault of the English yet? Ooh, ooh, me first!!
ALL these airgun crimes are because of the English pound maintaining Hadrians Wall as a false barrier to Scots freedoms & adding to the higher than average rainfalls compared to the rest of the UK...
Once the airgun law is passed, Scotland will be able to bask in the same weather system as Devon & Cornwall; the 5 year plan for agriculture will see the Clydeside Allotment Society surpass the Russian steppes in annual grain production, and Nichola Sturgeon will no longer look like Rab C. Nesbitt's wife on a bad perm day.

THE REAL FACTS ARE:
ALL gun crimes are at an all time low, esp. airgun crimes
The MAJORITY of the population DO NOT want this new law
The POLICE want little to do with it
The people that are the current problem re. misuse of airguns will NOT pay attention to another regulation on the use/ownership of such things (see UK wide ban on handguns to "remove them from the streets" - where are the handguns now?? ON THE STREETS in the hands of drug dealers & criminals...)
THIS law WILL NOT be cost effective
(i.e. HOW will the Police be able to check cars crossing into Scotland from the rest of the UK for possible airguns & ensure the owner has the correct licence? BORDER GUARDS?)
100% ScotsNaziPartie population control/muscle flexing POWER exercise...EGO's need to be massaged (a la expense accounts...)

All the more reason for us to vote NO in September. The sooner that puffed-up megalomaniac and his poisonous sidekick are kicked into touch, the better for all of us.

I'm ACTIVELY planning to NOT be a resident of a post-UK, S.N.P. run state

I hope I get my exit papers stamped by the GorbalsStapo before the gates are padlocked, as the trained Border Guard West Highland Terrier attack dogs are vicious when they sink their teeth in...

God forbid that idiot ever gets control - I hope and pray there is a "NO" vote on 18/9/2014 - if its "YES" then we're well and truly stuffed, a third world country with a nazi dictatorship.

The irony is they're planning on joining the EU if they get the yes vote, so it's not a vote for independence it's a vote against the English... sad really.

Good luck with getting across the border! :run:
