Apparently there's going to be a slot about licensing of guns, looking into how the local police are assessing applications from those deemed mentally ill.
Unfortunately we don't have a TV aerial or sat dish so can't watch it. If anyone up here can record it and maybe upload a copy?
Just looked and it should be available on IPlayer later http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0070g1d

Just watched it on iPlayer, a complete non-story about Durhams so called "trial" of applicants being asked to contact their GP and subsequently paying for any report/s submitted to the police. The chap at the end did however mention that since it's inception around 1/3 of applicants refused to do so
Nobody brought up the fact you already agree to the police being able to contact your GP (should they wish to at their own expense) and surprisingly Chief Inspector Ball didn't mention it was his departments gross incompetence that gave Atherton his guns back and caused the Horden tragedy.
Hope I remember not to mention that when we have our "chat" with him next week!.
