Better-Mag Adaptor S&W M&P 15/22 .22LR Mags in an AR
Better-Mag Adaptor
These little device allows you to use the S&W M&P 15/22 Mags in an AR, the S&W mags are easy to load and the Plinker Tactical ones hold 35 rounds. The bolt remains open after the last round and can be held back with no mag in the magwell.
Tested today with a CMMG Kit and in a BAR22, both work, however, the Bolt Catch spring on your AR may need shortening a coil or two.
£30.00 plus postage. Limited quantity of S&W and Plinker Tactical Mags also available.

Full test today at the range with a BAR22 and a CMMG. Both fed with no problems from both standard S&W MP 15/22 25 round Mags and Plinker Tactical 35 Round mags. The BHO worked flawlessly on the BAR22 with a reduced length bolt catch spring, this had been shortened to work better with the CMMG BHOA. On the CMMG the bolt could be held back on the bolt catch but would not reliably hold the bolt back on emptying a magazine, this I'm sure would be resolved by trimming the bolt catch spring (not done on this lower).
These are all made an simple to install adaptors and far superior to the CMMG BHOA, they do not get crushed between the upper and lower receivers nor are they likely to snap as the CMMG ones often do.
