I've got to say guys having shot my border barrel .223 Raven out to 1000 yards consistently with hand loads I'm seriously impressed with it, worth every penny. my only problem is now I've seen the ubr stock I've got to have one in fde lol

Rich, I don't suppose you mind sharing the details of your raven. I hadn't considered it as an option for me as I didn't think it reach out to 1000yards.
what sort of hand loads are you using and what groups do you get?

Yeah says India on my tyres doesn't mean I'm going there. I suspect Paul knows Tom at hera arms quite well.

The gun is maybe assembled there. Same as Astra Arms, their uppers and lowers are not made in Switzerland either.
Hera don't make their own bolts or small parts, so they have to come from somewhere else, they are not designed or made in Germany either.
There are very few companies that can say they make absolutely everything for a rifle in house.
Don't even think you can include HK in the list, as I know a number of UK machine shops that make parts for them too.
DPMS? No, as I know of a number of international companies who make parts from them also.

I can verify this, it's my rifle ;) .3" 10 shot groups at 100 with hand loads. Provided I'm not shooting it ;)

I've heard a lot of conflicting stuff about where Lantac receivers are made recently, glad I found this post.
