Hera Arms dont make their own billet upper or lowers (they are NOT manufactured in Germany) and the design (that was done by a Brazilian) is licensed by a number of companies that include LANTAC, Styer and Hera as well as some US companies also. I repeat Hera's Uppers and Lowers are NOT made in Germany and NOT made by them either.

Rich, I don't suppose you mind sharing the details of your raven. I hadn't considered it as an option for me as I didn't think it reach out to 1000yards.Rich83 wrote:I've got to say guys having shot my border barrel .223 Raven out to 1000 yards consistently with hand loads I'm seriously impressed with it, worth every penny. my only problem is now I've seen the ubr stock I've got to have one in fde
what sort of hand loads are you using and what groups do you get?

The gun is maybe assembled there. Same as Astra Arms, their uppers and lowers are not made in Switzerland either.
Hera don't make their own bolts or small parts, so they have to come from somewhere else, they are not designed or made in Germany either.
There are very few companies that can say they make absolutely everything for a rifle in house.
Don't even think you can include HK in the list, as I know a number of UK machine shops that make parts for them too.
DPMS? No, as I know of a number of international companies who make parts from them also.

I can verify this, it's my rifleAR15 wrote:That gun was £2100 excluding the Back up sights and scope. The Magpul UBR is about the most expensive stock that they make btw..

I've heard a lot of conflicting stuff about where Lantac receivers are made recently, glad I found this post.
