As are Tactical Coatings U.K. Ltd and Jager SA (based in Colchester). Don't believe that any of these sell the paint separately as the proper cerokote finish is licensed and needs the correct application and baking.

Are you sure about these two being agents?
I know Jager does cerekoting, not sure he is an agent.

Not quite sure what an agency involves but both are definitely licensed by the company to apply their finishes. Tactical coatings being the most recent only a month or so ago, which may have not gone down too well with Riflecraft.

There are 2 types of Cerakote Chapius, the baked on type and the DIY one, lots of retailers and tutorials in the states fit the latter but nobody doing it over here it seems.

I appreciate that demonic that's why I mentioned the "proper" ceracote. My understanding is that the spray cans are no better than any other automotive spray paints but this is only from what I am told as I have no experience of them but I am impressed by the professionally applied finish.

Yeah you're probably right Chapius. Some reviews reckon it's better than Krylon, some reckon worse, some reckon just crap.
There are a few DIY-ing the bake-on type too, that could be interesting but probably just as costly as paying someone else unless you plan on doing a lot.
Dave, if you do get hold of some make sure you let us all know how it goes!

Been looking and its like the hydro dipping a couple of years ago on license only , I saw a vid of a guy
[ USA ] using an airbrush for a DIY job that didn't need baking .
I know Hydro DIY kits are now available here so may be in the future so will Cerekote paint , why is nothing ever straight forward cheap and easy in this country , trouble is there's no manufacturing here any more which makes this country vulnerable to the rest of the world and its wims .

Dave cerakote c-series can be used no problem and should be available, even if you need to import it
