A club which does all disciplines?

#1 Post by dragonkid »

I am still not a member of any club yet. I have been really busy at work and moving house.

I want to join a club which tailor for all of these disciplines, ideally in London or Essex.

UKPSA disciplines:
Practical Shotgun
Practical Rifle
Long barrel pistol
Action Air

Target shootings
Small bore target shooting range
Full bore target shooting range

I have seen there is a club in Harlow which does Practical Shooting, but they don't seems to do any target shooting. Or do I need to join multiple clubs to be able to do all of these? Ideally I want to join only one club, due to the cost.

There is a club at Basildon that I think would cover most.
I will find a link.

The UKPSA don't do Practical Rifle, they think they do but they don't.

Yes, it is quite close to me. Is there a club near there?

Yep. Google Cheshunt rifle and pistol club.

I think you would be lucky to find a club that did everything on your list on a regular basis and don't just limit yourself to ukpsa clubs, pop over to the four islands forum too as there are lots of neutral members from the London area who might have suggestions.

I know some of the folk from Cheshunt and have been there.
They have a very good range complex with ingenious turning targets.
They regularly shoot at Bisley in the gallery rifle comps.
