Re barreling a AIA 7.62x39

Some one mentioned in a different post that they would use the action from a AIA 7.62x39 and re barrel it. What calibre would you re barrel it to.

Thames Valley guns converted one to 6.5 Grendel.
I nearly bought it but was too slow!
Check out their website for a write up on the build.

6.5x39mm (just necked down)
5.6x39mm (220 Russian)
5.45x39mm (If only!)
Maybe try something different and neck down the 5.45 to 20 cal or go up to the 9x39mm.

Hmmm, necking up to 9x39 sounds good, or maybe even .338 x x39 for a big slow subsonic heavyweight?

Nothing wrong with it, just that it doesn't interest me.
