I think I might go.

Is it ok to bring your own firearms to sell to the public there?

I'm going Sunday I hope! (SWMBO has final say), Nice and early beat the traffic (the teenage rug rat will not like being kicked out of the pit at 6 am bumpsign )
Glad to hear that there is tarmac parking with all the water

Best Regards

Neil Francis posted some pictures on FB and it looks dead!

I think his photos are from setting up the night before/morning of the event? wasnt too bad early on, there were a few hundred of us queuing at 8am. It was definitely heaving when we left at lunch time, couldn't get near calidonian arms stall for ages, place was mobbed!

We're just back, having had an excellent day. The access / egress is far better managed this year, ticketing for those that need it is better too. We arrived at 07:00 to assist on the HBSA stand and the doors opened to the plebeian hordes at 07:50. By 09:00 it was busy, but not too congested due to the multiple access points and much wider aisles than last year. Some of our favourite dealers weren't there ths year but there still a goodly spread and the airgun / shotgun / country type stands were very busy. Far fewer Walts around this year too, but maybe they only get weekend passes from the homes so they could be out in force tomorrow and Sunday. All in all, not a bad day.

Oh, and we bought a nice new old bangstick - a 1918 Browning pump action shotgun, trenches for the clearing of...
