Is that a Taurus barrel in the second pic?
Shocked at how paper thin the barrel looks where it has been machined out for the vents in the top rib-more so at the chamber end than the muzzle. That just doesn't look right to me.

Re: Stacking.
Just goes to show the level of training some people get, and I agree with dromia, they should not be shooting if they cannot detect that a round has nor fired.....
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!

if its a revolver, how much pressure is there left in the barrel once the round leaves the cylinder?Meaty wrote:Is that a Taurus barrel in the second pic?

Yep, it's real.zeroveez wrote:If this last pic is for real that is one strong barrel!
Taurus 357mag with downloaded ammo. New from the shop the dealer suggested some light loads and the owner tried them but without checking if anything was coming out the end. Well one did, his partner noticed it poking out the end when the cylinder wouldn't turn and the last and final round could only make it half way into the barrel and was still stuck half way in the cylinder.
Now has a new barrel in place and waiting proof.

Blimey Ken, that is one hell of a stretched bullet. Is there really that much of a volume difference between. 223" and .300"?
