Had two Mags sent over that I purchased on Ebay- they have been on back order here for ages.
Seller was perfectly happy to send over, and luckily this time I didn't have any import duty to pay

I can get Buckmark mags for about $20 or just under from the USA

UK sellers are asking closer to £50

...not a lot of grey matter required to see which option is the better one - Buy Foreign

If you are buying from the states, keep the value of the shipment under £15, approx $24 (work on $22) and there will be no VAT to pay. £3 VAT is not the real problem, the £15 Royal Mail fee is. If you want 2 mags at $20, get them shipped separately.

If you pre-pay your duty you can avoid fees from the courier. There are forms from HMRC that allow you to do this.
The odd thing is that, according to British law, it's the shippers responsibility to pay the correct duty, not the recipient.
