Ohhh when did this happen? I know they were still giving press realeses this time last year, but they have been largely quiet since.

Dec 2013 is not an indicator of current activity. If they were still running I'd have expected Gill Marshall-Andrews and Peter Squires to be frantically sending out press releases to national newspapers after Farage's comments. That Peter is responding reactively (i.e. he's waiting for newspapers to solicit him for his vile untruths) tells me the GCN is no longer the media force it once was. The previous update before Dec 2013 is Sep 2013, which suggests Gill and Peter have lost interest in their pretend pressure group - or after Bob Marshall-Andrews lost his parliamentary seat, perhaps the powers that be no longer care about him and his wife's private peccadilloes. Peter is also falsely trading on his assumed status as an ACPO adviser, whereas in reality it seems the ACPO IAG on the misuse of firearms which he claims to have been a member of has been defunct for at least a year. (please tell me if you know otherwise!)

Website last updated: Friday, 03 January 2014 (scroll down to the bottom of the page) - which means it's more up to date than some Govt websites!

I agree the lack of media activity is good news, but I'm not totally convinced (hopeful, yes ) at this point in time.

You could always drop them a line (with a subscription to whichever gun magazine you feel is most suitable - just to check for signs of life! ) or send them an e-mail and see how long it takes them to get back - mentioning that you're a Journo might speed things up!
