I'm considering my next aquisition and looking at the idea of a 6.5x47, can anyone tell me the realistic barrel life for such please.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Barrel life sounds to be good from what I have heard but it is always going to be down to how hard you are prepared to push the rifle. I would hope for 2500 accurate rounds in the 6.5x47 we are looking at building.

OK that sounds reasonable :)
It won't be until next year, I'll wait for my renewal next Feb and put in for one I think.
