Tip:

Don't fanny around with handwarmers in your hand. Get two loose-fitting towling wristbands ('sweatbands') and make an opening in them to fully accommodate the warmer. Apply to your wrists and the heat will encourage bloodflow to your hands/arms a lot better. As a consequence, heat will return to your core with greater efficiency too.

Good point, less required to reach the blood stream, I heard something like this a while back

Just bought my missus something that charges up from a USB Dave.

She used the stick ones for a while but the wretched wthings keep going out
