Any ideas what this will mean for us?

I guess higher prices in the short term as everyone panic buys.

Won't have any effect on me as I stopped using overpriced(Viht) powders a couple of years ago.

As with most components, they are only overpriced in rip-off Britain. It is as cheap as TR140 over here.

By "over here", I presume you mean Belgium. Can you give us an idea of what you have to pay, so we can see how much extra we are paying here in Blighty? What is availability like? I'm finding it very difficult to get any N340, for example...

N140 in 3.5Kg pots works out at £52.00 per Kg.
N340 in 2 Kg pots comes to £ 53.00 per Kg.

Availability looks ok.

Not that much cheaper then, the N140 I bought about 2 months ago cost me £55/Kg and the N310 was £60/Kg.

Can you let the community know where you bought this from, at this price? Or perhaps a PM?

No problem, got the N140 off Dogyrog and the N310 from Saddler on one of his Bulk Buys. Just checked the last N310 was £65/Kg as it was in 1/2Kg tubs.
