Third Eye Spartan has transformed my Blaser LRS..............a significant reduction in recoil as well as a "crump" instead of a "bang".
And it strips for easy cleaning.

Would that work if you could alter the baffle sizes too?
I've been designing a modular one for a while now and never thought about proofing, was just something I'd like to make for myself
A suppressor catering for say 6mm to 7,8mm could use the same baffles although you might struggle to cover .223 through to .338LM

And what degree of clearance is customary to allow the bullet to pass through the baffles?

We were thinking that less would be better. Maybe enough just to allow a laminar flow of gases over the bullet to act as a fluid bearing.

Nice idea however it is also very easy to over pressure the blast chambers, cause disturbance in the flow leading to the bullet shaving on the baffles.

Blast chambers ? We weren't thinking of having any of those. A plenum chamber or two, maybe...
