I think ? that its Facebook speak for somebody agreeing with the statement.
The peeps to which you refer venerable sign is an allusion to the Harry Enfield character Stavros " innit "? and as I am of Greek decent I have adopted it as a salutation.

And this is supposed to be good?
Love it or hate mate it opens it up to a very wide audience and also opens up the subject to debate with the antis, and they will debate. Just don't get into the name calling, present them with the facts of the truth about shooting. Brains baffles BS, just keep it factual and it defeats them every time.

That is my experience of it, it attracts tw@ts.
Personally I can't be bothered with it either, thing is though not all the people on it are tw@ts. Those are the people who will take notice and then sides will be drawn for and against. Also like it or not mate, some of those "tw@ts may be SGC and FAC holders.
Adam if it helps to bring it out into open debate, that can't be a bad thing.
I doubt most people on arse book are capable of debate.
I manage to share all the ideas I want with people through face to face, phone and letters, as regards to digital coms I use email, my web site and here.
I feel communications are far better face to face, on the phone or by letter, any thing requiring a key board is a poor second for me. Typing always gets in the way of my thinking and is an unnatural process to me and stops my flow and inhibits my reasoning, reading anything of any length on a screen is a real pain as well. But then I have never been the brightest tool in the box and have never claimed to be good at anything. I like things simple as most complexity is just noise that adds nothing to any debate.
I get the impression with the digital media that people are more interested in the technology rather than the message, sweeping generalisation I know to there will no doubt be the odd exception.
See my signature, it is my view of the world.

Adam I fully agree with you mate, face to face contact, the written word and sharing ideas are all a part of what's trying to be achieved. At the same time though the government, law enforcement and the antis all use the social media in on form or another. It's just another environment where they have had their way too long, it's time to take it to them for a change.
No offence meant to you Mike, no doubt you and few others I know and respect will be using this thing unbeknownst to me and you are the exceptions that prove my rule.

Blu
They only have their way if you subscribe to such media, me I don't so they never touch me. To be honest if people have their opinions formed solely through such sh!te then as I have said earlier debate and reasoned argument is wasted on them. It is the mental apathy and intellectual laziness of human beings that makes arsebook and tw@tter so popular and that is the real problem we face, people revelling in simple black and white statements and opinion with no depth and reasoned thought behind them, no "why" or tangible reality underpinning their thinking just blind adoption of a mass and fashionable view, such is our post modern population reduced to.

Just posted a link in Grumpy old men to an article in the Telegraph saying that young people entering work today are less well educated than the older people leaving work, these are digital generations.

Dromia, I wholehearted agree with you regarding FaceShite and the like, my family uses it and will often post pictures of their children and whatever they are doing, I never see these pictures nor follow their communication. I realise that I am missing out however it is my choice, a choice I have taken because I truly believe that every single piece of information that we submit online, other people can see, even on Tor.
I use gmail, when I get a Danish email in, odd how the ads change to a Scandinavian language
Latest is that the US has monitored gmail and yahoo emails...
