Blatant electioneering by pandering to the terminally gullible who think guns have a mind of their own and that shooters do not.

Discrimination against a minority group who have already demonstrated enough. and it is a RIGHT to own one, and yes it comes with responsibility.

Maybe time we applied the same "thought" to politicians! Let's see IF they are fit to be one - though wanting to be one suggests they are not.
Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!

We already have to show that we are fit and have good reason. I think that it's only shotguns that this is aimed at whereby you don't need good cause to be able to own one. It won't affect FACs.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

Dream on..
That is a rather naive attitude, and exactly what the gun haters want you to think.
As badger said - read your Pastor Niemoller.

I think this is the police lobbying to get Section 2 repealed and bring everything under Section 1. There will be more to it though - they're probably pushing for mandatory GP disclosures and compulsory markers on health records.

Until or if the shooting fraternity organises itself we will always be victim to police and politicians as shooters are what is know as "easy wins" for them. Regardless of the fact in reality it does nothing to make people safer.

Hammer legal shooters and the shallow, gullible British public believe the lie that something has been done to make them "safer".
